It's, It's Bloomable!
Hello all! Sorry that I took the week off last week but it was Easter, so family, mass, and copious amounts of food became more important than my blog. For the past couple of posts, it's been lots of words with a few pictures, so I'm going to switch it around and make this a post with lots of pictures and a few words.
Spring is very much officially here, which means the green has returned and the flowers are absolutely blowing my mind. We were lucky to be visited by someone from the Nature Conservancy again for another nature hike, and we got to learn about some really cool forest wildflowers. I tried to remember some of the names, and if you think that a lot of them sound weird, please realize that I think so too. I'm still not entirely convinced that Chris, our guide, didn't just make up names to have a little fun with the naive camp staff who were eagerly writing notes about his every word. Anyway, here's pictures of cool flowers!

This week's title brought to you by Sharon Creech and her lovely book, Bloomability, which, along with her other books, was an important addition to my personal catalogue of books in middle school and let me know that people could be different and different people could write and be featured in books.
