Grateful Like Shredded Cheese
Hi friends!
I'm back and more administrative than ever! I've officially moved into my office and fully transitioned from Program Staff to Program and Development Assistant which means my life is a little less manual labor, a little more email. I'll still be able to be out and about in the woods, so don't you worry that my blogs will just be about office supplies and filing systems from now on.
Since Thanksgiving was this past week, I thought this post would be a great time to share what I'm thankful for in my life. I am confronted every single day with just how blessed I am to lead the life that I lead and I can't imagine ever being able to show the level of gratitude that is merited, but I'll try! Here is just a small portion of the things that I'm thankful for this year:

Here is just a small portion of the things that I'm thankful for this year:
- a new full-time job at my favorite place in the world
- camp dogs (shoutout to Zeus and Addie!)
- my friends who also just happen to be my coworkers
- my family who are always, always excited to see me
- the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, for maintaining our state parks
- my Blazer, because she gets me (and my endless amount of stuff) wherever I need to go
- Chipotle, who should really just sponsor me already and send me free burritos
- wildflowers
- the Bloomington Farmers' Market
- really good local craft beer
- macaroni and cheese (I'm rediscovering my love for it with childlike joy, alright?)
- Coco, the new Pixar movie
- the inspiring words of those around me and people I have never met
- abundant clean water
- a house to live in with heat and air conditioning
- electricity
- a job that pays me a living wage
- sufficient food to keep me healthy
- clothing
- shoes to protect my feet
- my computer
- products that allow me to be clean
- medicine
- my education
- feminism
- art
- books
- life
Like I said, I'm incredibly blessed. If you're reading this, thanks for being a part of my life!
